Straight Superiors for the Sound of the County! 
The Sound of the County 91-piece Concert Band proudly represented Harris County at the Large Group Performance Evaluation held at Rainey McCullers School of the Arts on March 3, 2026—and they delivered an outstanding performance.
The ensemble was evaluated on tone, intonation, technique, balance, musicality, and sight reading, earning straight Superior ratings—the highest possible—from all four adjudicators.
This achievement reflects the countless hours of rehearsal, dedication, and musicianship shown by these talented students.
