Prom is one of the most memorable milestones in a student’s high school journey. However, the cost of formal attire can create financial stress for families.
To help remove that barrier, Harris County Schools is proud to host the 6th Annual Prom-A-Palooza, a district signature initiative dedicated to ensuring every Harris County High School student can attend prom with confidence and dignity.
What began as a small outreach effort has grown into a meaningful and impactful event. Over the past six years, more than 100 prom dresses have been collected and distributed, along with suits and formalwear for our gentlemen. Through the generosity of our community, Prom-A-Palooza has provided significant financial relief for families while ensuring students feel supported and included in this important high school experience.
