E-rate FY25 Internet and Managed Firewall

The Harris County School District is requesting proposals for internet access and managed firewall services. The new service is being planned to begin on July 1, 2025. The District is looking for interested vendors who can provide solutions that will address its current and future needs. The District is open to all proposals from vendors that meet the District's needs and qualifications based on the information outlined in this Request for Proposal (RFP).

January 30, 2025 RFP issued

February 17, 2025 Optional site survey (8:30 Eastern)

February 28, 2025 Deadline for questions regarding bid specifications (4:00 Eastern)

March 7, 2025 Proposal deadline (noon Eastern)

What is the preferred method of delivery for this proposal?

Our preferred submission method is a PDF document sent via email to smith-jonathan@harris.k12.ga.us. Please include everything in the PDF that normally would be included in a hard copy.

Under the Required Attachments list on RFP pg. 6, it notes to complete and sign the Bid Response Forms. Please provide the forms that need to be completed and included with our response.

The Bid Response Forms requirement was listed in error. Please disregard that requirement.
 
Please clarify what information HCSD would like included in "product specs" (in the Bid Requirements section on page 6) versus in the Bid Response section.

We would like specifications for internet service and features of the managed firewall. Please refer to the specifications on RFP page 2 for the type of information we would like to receive.
